India Post Recruitment 2025: India Post has announced the recruitment drive for driver positions in Bihar. The official notification was released on 13 December 2024. This recruitment drive aims to fill a of total 18 vacancies under India Post Recruitment 2025.
Eligible candidates can submit their applications through speed post/ registered post before 12th January 2025. Candidates who have completed the 10th pass from a recognized board and have a valid licence for light and heavy motor vehicles are eligible to apply for these vacancies.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates need to fulfil the given criteria to apply for India Post Recruitment 2025:
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates should have a valid driving license for light and heavy motor vehicles.
- Knowledge of Motor Mechanism (The candidate should be able to remove minor defects in the vehicle.
- Experience in driving light and heavy motor vehicles for at least three years.
- Pass in 10th Standard from a recognized Board or Institute.
Age Limit: 18 to 27 years (Relaxable 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC and for Ex-Servicemen up to a maximum of 3 years.
India Post Recruitment 2025 Selection Process:
The Selection Process for driver posts shall be made based on a Trade test/Driving Test to assess their competency to drive light and heavy motor vehicles from amongst the candidates possessing the requisite eligibility criteria mentioned above.
The date and venue of the test will be intimated separately to the eligible candidates. No intimation will be sent in respect of other applicants who are not eligible.
The application process for India Post Recruitment 2025:
The applications along with the requisite enclosures should be sent in an appropriate size of thick paper envelope clearly inscribing on the cover as “Application for the post of Driver (Direct Recruitment) at Office of the Chief Postmaster General, Bihar Circle, Patna-800001“ through Speed Post/Register Post only and addressed to “Assistant Director (Rectt.), Office of the Chief Postmaster General, Bihar Circle, Patna-800001”.
Applications sent by any other means will be rejected.
The last date of receipt of the application is on or before 12/01/2025 by 1700 Hrs.
