KVS Teacher Eligibility Criteria 2025

To Apply for teacher recruitment, candidates need to fulfil the required eligibility criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• Post Graduate Teachers (PGT): Candidates should have a postgraduate degree from the Regional College of Education of NCERT or a Master’s Degree. B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
• Primary Teachers (PRT): Candidates should have completed 12th with 50% marks or 2-year diploma certificate in basic teachers’ training OR Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.ED). Qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by the Govt. of India.
• TGT: Candidates should have four Bachelor’s Degrees with at least 50% Marks from a recognized University. Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET).
• Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT): B.E/B.Tech (Computer Science)/BCA/MCA/M.Sc (Computer Science), M.Sc (Electronics with Computer Science component), M.Sc (IT)/ B.Sc (Computer Science) OR Bachelor/Master degree in any science subject/Mathematics from a recognized university with PGDCA.

Written Test will be conducted based on Candidates Registered (If more than 10 candidates apply for any post mentioned above, there will be a written test before the Interview, If the number of candidates applied is 10 or less for a post then only an interview will be conducted.
